Congratulations on Your New Job Email Example
Congratulations on Your New Job Email ExampleCongratulations on Your New Job Email ExampleWhen a friend or colleague gets a new job, its both courteous and smart to send acongratulations note.Professional networksare oiled and maintained through small but positive expressions of support and encouragement. If you send a simple note of congratulations, it will be remembered by its recipient. While the most personal approach would be to hand-write and post a traditional card by mail, it is also fine to send an email to express your best wishes. (If youre sending congratulations to a former colleague, and do not have their email address at the ready, sending a LinkedIn homilie is appropriate.) Just be sure that your message is personalized to reflect your relationship with the person youre sending it to. Elements of a Congratulations Email for a New Job In your email, be sure to include the name of the company and theposition of the recipients new job. Add personal, specific details that exemplify why you believe that they will prosper in their new role. Wish them success, and offer to support them during their career transition. You may also suggest getting together for coffee, lunch, or a happy hour in a couple of weeks so you can catch up on how they are doing in their new position. Finally, be sure to include several ways to contact you, including email, phone, website, and social media (such as LinkedIn) in thesignature of your message. You do not have to send a long note - just a few sentences are sufficient. The most important thing is to convey your congratulations and best wishes.Should you send a traditional card as well? If you have a strong relationship, sending flowers, balloons, candy, or simply a lovely, handwritten card in addition to the email is a nice touch. If you are sending a handwritten card, try to use your nicest, most legible handwriting. You may want to write out your message on scrap paper beforehand to avoid grammatical errors or c rossed-out words and phrases. Why You Should Send a Congratulations for a New Job When your friend or colleague gets anew position, their number of contacts will grow. By maintaining contact with a person in a new job, you may be able to get introductions to people in that company. Even if your friend is taking a position within your current organization or company, they will still be making new contacts. A company that is hiring is undergoing changes and restructuring, and that means that exciting new opportunities will inevitably arise. If you provide a specific tafelgeschirr or product, your friend may learn that it is needed in their new situation and recommend to their supervisor that you join their new team. At times, you may have applied for the job that your friend welches hired to fill. Dont let that stop you from sending a congratulations message. Keep communications open with an upbeat and supportive email. If you maintain a positive relationship with them, you can le arn more about their new job and use this information to craft your applications to similar positions in the future. Follow upwith another note in a couple of weeks, suggesting getting together to see how things are going. Hey Employer, Your Online Application Sucks!
Hey Employer, Your Online Application SucksEmployer, Your Online Application SucksHey Employer, Your Online Application SucksA friend of mine recently applied for a job. He was well-qualified, and he made aya his resume and cover letter fit the job description and linked his past experience to their present needs. It took some time to tweak it, but its got to be done if you want to stand out from the crowd in this job market, right? So after uploading those documents into the companys online application program, he was a bit miffed to find out he could not just submit them. Oh no You have to earn the privilege of applying to this company by also completing an online form that asks for all the same information. And those online questions are mandatory, even if youve uploaded your resume. (A friendly little note confirms that, in so many words.)For this very-important company, job candidates cannot reach the Submit button until they provide additional data on their fruchtwein recent job s, their former supervisors, two personal references, and their minimum salary requirements. The unwritten message to prospective employees is, We want to put you at a complete disadvantage before you apply for a job here. That, alone, should have been enough of a red flag to realize this company has its collective head up its collective butt. But hey, when you need a job, you do what you gotta do. So my buddy put in the time, and begrudgingly provided all the intrusive and redundant information. It took almost an hour, but he finally was able to submit the application. Two days later he found this response in his email inbox emphasis mine Dear _____,Thank you for your interest in _____, Inc. It is always a pleasure to encounter individuals who have the desire to participate in our very exciting and rewarding industry. Unfortunately, you do not meet the minimum qualifications we have established for this position. We do wish you the best of luck in your job search. Sincerely, etc. Exc use me??? We all know ansicht rejection letters are not personally written for each candidate this was a generic form letter. But someone in this company actuallywrote that form letter at some point. And someone else in this company (probably several someones) actually approved the notion that it was OK to tell every candidate, regardless of experience, that they do not meet the minimum qualifications. BrilliantWell, company whose name I would so love to reveal but wont, your online application process is obnoxious, your rejection letter is insulting, and the entire experience you create for job applicants is probably an indication of how poorly you treat the people who wind up working in your very exciting and rewarding industry. But we do wish you the best of luck in your quest to find quality employees Have you ever received a similar employment rejection that needlessly added insult to injury? Please leave a comment and vent away

Well, you are in luck because as of Februarypublic companies are now required to disclose a ratio that compares the salary oftheir CEO with the pay oftheir median employee.
